We value collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to operational excellence.As an ID1 PTO Engineer, you will play a key role in managing part type introductions, wafer resource planning, and yield performance throughout the product lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions, seamless production transitions, and optimized manufacturing performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys driving coordination, solving complex challenges, and influencing product success.Responsibilities:Manage system setup, traveler creation, and pilot scheduling for new product introductionsCoordinate startup planning activities, including risk assessments and resource alignmentSupport yield curve projections and performance tracking to enable business planning and forecastingOversee sampling plans, attribute management, SWR processing, and hold management activitiesPartner with planning, operations, and engineering teams to manage wafer, reticle, and priority lot requirementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering fieldExperience in semiconductor manufacturing, product introduction, PTO, NPI, or related engineering disciplinesKnowledge of DRAM and/or NAND technologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in PTO (Part Type Ownership) or New Product Introduction within a DRAM or NAND manufacturing environmentExperience coordinating wafer planning, yield performance monitoring, and product lifecycle transitionsFamiliarity with manufacturing systems, attribute management, and reticle tracking processesExperience collaborating across engineering, planning, and operations organizations in a high-volume manufacturing environmentExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
