Job Description HCC is seeking experienced nurses in the areas of medical/surgical, pediatrics, maternal/newborn, mental health, and fundamentals of nursing to work with students in the clinical setting. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified. Required Education A Bachelor of Nursing ( BSN ) degree; MSN preferred. Candidates must be licensed as a registered nurse in Maryland or a compact state. Required Experience Two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse are required. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Work requires medium physical effort lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Clinical teaching experience preferred. General Weekly Work Schedule Clinical teaching may include days, evenings and/or weekends and takes place at various sites in Harford County and the surrounding region.
