We also offer various scheduling options (10s, 12s, 24s), comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide basic life support (BLS) within the EMT scope of practiceSafely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in accordance with state and local regulationsDeliver competent, compassionate patient care in a variety of transport and clinical settingsApply EMS protocols and procedures effectively in practical situationsCommunicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare personnelDocument patient care accurately in our electronic charting systemAssist fellow EMS providers and provide thorough handoff reportsMaintain equipment, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and restock suppliesDemonstrate ethical conduct and commitment to patient care and safetyRequired QualificationsCurrent EMT certification (state-specific requirements apply)High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license and good driving recordStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical DemandsSafely operate EMS vehicles and essential medical equipmentAbility to bend, sit, kneel and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull over 50 lbsMaintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environmentsTolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulancePerform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situationsFor over 35 years, MMT has been at the forefront of innovation, continuously expanding to support our team members and provide efficient, reliable interfacility ambulance patient transportation for our healthcare partners.
