We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Finance & Business Operations organization. This position will support the RMS Controller Vice President & the Controller leadership team.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Provide general correspondence, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements and complete expense reports, answer stakeholder inquiries, help manage the business rhythm and perform other duties, as assigned.
- Proactively manage executive calendars, collaborating with other admins and prioritizing & managing scheduling conflicts.
- Anticipate needs and troubleshoot and manage complex travel itineraries.
- Perform complex and diversified administrative functions that require independent decision making and problem solving with minimal direction.
- Manage conference rooms as needed (including reservations, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Teams and other IT as necessary).
- Order and maintain office supply Inventory, organize shipments, mail, etc in support of the VP and team.
- Determine priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects or initiatives as needed, including providing support to the department staff.
- May occasionally need to provide assistance outside normal office hours to address an unexpected business issue. WHO WE ARE

Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of progressive administrative support experience including supporting senior leadership / executives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook including calendar management, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with arranging travel and completing expense reports.
- Knowledge of standard office equipment and technology for both operation and basic trouble shooting (i.e phone, iPhone, computer, laptop)
Desired Skills:
-Experience with RMS or Lockheed Martin
-Ability to work with minimal direction & company/team first attitude at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal skills/ability to interact with all levels of management, peers, government, and other industry personnel in a proficient, courteous, discrete and professional manner
- Well organized and detail-oriented with flexibility and ability to effectively balance the handling of multiple assignments and tasks in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and act in a professional manner
- Willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibilities and have a strong desire for professional continued self-improvement, a professional demeanor and well-spoken
- Ability to anticipate requirements of business leaders

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $71,500 - $119,140. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
