We are looking for a hardworking, intelligent person with a relentless dedication to safety, quality, and customer service to join us as a Truck / Tractor / Diesel Technician.ResponsibilitiesThe Technician will be responsible for:Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricatingEnsuring equipment is DOT compliantEnsuring equipment is operational with minimal downtimeResponsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and proceduresEnsures a safe and clean work environmentAbility to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair orderAble diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on Trailers and ForkliftsAble to weld and fabricateMust be able to complete repairs within SRT timesWill work on other equipment as necessaryMust be on time and present on days schedule to workQualificationsWhat is XGS looking for in the ideal candidate...Verifiable Experience as a Diesel TechnicianDOT Inspector CertificationAir Brake CertificationElectrical ExperienceWelding and Fabrication experienceAbility to lift 50+ poundsAbility to work in all seasonal temperature conditionsWe offer a Boot Program:$150 allowance after 90 days of employmentReceive every 2 yearsWe also offer a Tool allowance:$500 allowance after 90 days of employmentReceive annually
