RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in acute care setting
• EPIC charting system experience required
• New York licensure required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Pass/fail testing administered at 7:00 AM on first day of orientation
• VAD experience specifically with HeartMate 3 required
• Cardiothoracic experience required
• CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) experience required
• Heart and lung transplant experience required
• Coronary bypass experience required
• TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) experience required
• Valve replacement experience required
• Must understand management of arrhythmias
• Heart failure management experience required
• Knowledge of transplant medications required
• Liver and kidney transplant experience required
• Float to ICU as needed
• No call-off policy enforced with 14 days written cancellation notice required
• BSN degree not required
