Sr Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer (Dallas, TX)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing organization in the Dallas area and play a key role in a newly launched cloud data platform initiative. This position will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to build and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities while supporting a modern data stack.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake , dbt, SQL, and Python
• Support and optimize data integrations across multiple business systems
• Take ownership of the data environment following an initial implementation phase
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Contribute to reporting, analytics, and data modeling initiatives
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability across the platform

Requirements:

• 7+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, andPython
• Experience building and managing modern cloud data pipelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences
• Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and able to work onsite 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern ELT tools and reporting platforms
• Exposure to AI-enabled analytics capabilities
• Background supporting operational or field-service organizations

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary + benefits
