Key Responsibilities for the Sr. Cost Accountant Role: Oversee inventory accounting, costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS) activities. Manage inventory costing methodologies and item maintenance within NetSuite. Support month-end close, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis. Monitor inventory reserves, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy, processes, and reporting. Qualifications for the Sr Cost Accountant: 6+ years of cost accounting and inventory accounting experience within biotech, life sciences, manufacturing, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of inventory costing, COGS, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills highly desired.
