Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Join HMD Trucking from Wilmington, DE as a solo OTR dry van operator hauling nationwide freight with predictable lanes and a driver-focused dispatch team. You’ll handle long-haul deliveries, secure freight, maintain logs, and represent the company with professional service at customer sites.

Core Duties:

• Safely transport dry van loads across regional and national routes.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain records, and report issues.
• Coordinate with dispatch and adhere to routing and compliance requirements.

What to expect: late-model trucks (under 3 years) with APU, inverter and sleeper; strong pay starting at 65 CPM (avg ~2,500 mi/wk), safety/referral bonuses, in-house maintenance, regular home time, and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months experience required.
