RN/LPN Wound Care Nurse

Now Hiring: Wound Nurse (RN/LPN)Part Time - Weekend | Shift: 7a-7:30pmWe are seeking a dedicated Wound Nurse (RN/LPN) to oversee and implement the facility's Wound Prevention and Treatment Program. This role works closely with Unit Managers, the Staff Development Coordinator, and the Wound Care Team to ensure high-quality wound prevention, treatment, and staff education.Key Responsibilities:Administrative & Clinical FunctionsAssess skin condition of all new admissions using standardized assessment toolsCollaborate with the Wound Care Team to determine appropriate prevention and treatment plansObtain physician orders for wound treatment modalitiesImplement wound treatment plans as assigned by the Director of NursingAccurately document all wound treatments and ensure consistency in documentationComplete weekly wound summariesEducate nursing staff on wound prevention principlesRespect residents' rights regarding choice, consent, and refusal of treatmentConsult with Unit Managers and Social Workers when needed to ensure compliance with facility policies and State and Federal regulationsQualifications & Experience:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingCurrent RN or LPN license (required)Minimum of one (1) year of wound care experienceWound Care Certification (preferred)We Are Proud to Offer:Competitive pay rates401(k) retirement planComprehensive healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision)Paid time off (PTO)
