Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist (IS) License required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar educational setting strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively modify curriculum and individualized learning strategies for students with varying needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about fostering an inclusive learning community
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to K-8 students with a variety of exceptionalities, adapting as needed for maximum growth
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of student goals, progress, and interventions
- Utilize creative, evidence-based teaching methodologies to encourage confidence and academic growth
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
