Wind Turbine Technician

To maintain optimal function and output at the wind site, the full-time Wind Technician will perform daily turbine operations, safety checks, and quality control while collaborating with site leadership and managing warranty repairs, all within a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Execute contractual obligations and daily activities related to electrical and mechanical equipment in GE wind turbine generators Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines Document all work performed and respond to the remote operations center as needed Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED, with 1+ years of experience as a Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or equivalent education Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment Basic computer skills Valid driver's license and ability to handle repetitive weight of 50 lbs Willingness to work in various environments and on rotating shift schedules, including potential overnight stays
