Global Credit Portfolio Associate

We are working exclusively with a leading global alternative asset manager, one of the largest in the world with over $100 billion in AUM across its multi-asset/ OCIO investing platform, to identify a high-caliber Investment Associate for their Credit Strategy team in New York. This is a rare opportunity to join a best-in-class credit investment team investing across the full global credit landscape, with exposure to structured credit, corporate credit, asset-based finance, and real assets across both public and private markets. You will play a central role in sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring investments across a broad opportunity set including fund partnerships, co-investments, operating platforms, and direct investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Sourcing and conducting due diligence on prospective investments across public and private credit strategies Building detailed financial models and scenario analyses; researching industries and themes Continuously monitoring portfolio exposures; tracking positions, engaging with fund managers, and stress-testing investment theses Developing tools to process and analyze large datasets for underwriting and portfolio construction Assisting with structuring across partnerships, funds, co-investments, and direct transactions; reviewing legal documentation and covenant structures Preparing materials for investment committees, portfolio reviews, and senior management / investor updates Requirement: 1 - 4 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, credit investing, structured products, or a hedge fund / asset management platform Strong financial modelling skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter who can independently develop and defend investment views Collaborative and comfortable working across teams Programming / data analysis experience (Python, SQL, VBA) is a strong plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
