Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid Colorado teaching certification/license in Special Education (required)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with early childhood populations
- A team-oriented approach and effective communication skills
- Knowledge of best practices in special education and individualized instruction
- Adaptability and creativity in the classroom
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction to a diverse K-12 student caseload in an inclusive setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and educational teams
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for early childhood learners with special needs
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Maintain records and documentation compliant with district and state requirements
