Mechanical Assembler

Job Description Job Description Description: QRC is actively seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to assemble fabricated parts in a light industrial production / lab environment. Works under and reports to the Production Supervisor. Essential Job Functions: Use hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble units according to product Specifications. Assemble, inspect, and test cables, sub-assy’s and finished product. Install software / firmware and configure products. Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks with precession. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have the ability interpret work instructions and simple mechanical drawings. Candidate must have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Assembler. Knowledge and understanding of PC computer software and hardware installation, ability to operate standard computers. Solid written communication skills and attention to detail. Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate basic soldering skills. The candidate must be able to obtain a clearance when sponsored by QRC. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Electronic Training Certificate, and Military Electronics Training or applicable AA degree is preferred.
