Elevate Care Providers LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a 10-year-old female client in Wentzville, Missouri.

The client has complex medical and developmental needs, including PCLO genetic disorder, epilepsy, dysphagia, G-tube dependence, autism spectrum disorder, sensory disorder, developmental delay, speech delay, sleep apnea, immune disorder, eczema, ADHD, OCD, PICA, and a history of C. difficile infection.

Pay Rate: $40 per hour
Location: Wentzville, Missouri
County: St. Charles County
Schedule: Available shifts will be discussed during the interview.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide safe, one-on-one nursing care in the client’s home.
• Administer medications and treatments according to the physician’s plan of care.
• Provide G-tube feedings, medications, flushing, and site care.
• Monitor for seizure activity and follow the prescribed seizure action plan.
• Monitor respiratory status, sleep apnea symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, positioning, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain aspiration precautions and monitor for feeding intolerance.
• Provide care appropriate for a child with autism, sensory needs, developmental delays, PICA, ADHD, and OCD.
• Observe for signs of infection, skin irritation, allergic reactions, or gastrointestinal concerns.
• Accurately document all nursing care, treatments, medications, observations, and changes in condition.
• Communicate professionally with the parent or guardian, nursing supervisor, physician, and care team.
• Maintain infection-control precautions and a safe home environment.
• Follow all agency policies, physician orders, and applicable state and Medicaid requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Missouri RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification.
• Previous pediatric, private duty nursing, G-tube, seizure, or special-needs experience is preferred.
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to seizures, aspiration risk, respiratory concerns, and other medical emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to complete required background checks and employment screenings.
• Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, attentive, and comfortable working with children with complex medical and behavioral needs.
