Warehouse Associate

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE! 1ST SHIFT - 4 DAY WORKWEEK (M-TH). GREAT COMPANY! GREAT CULTURE! GREAT BENEFITS! The Warehouse Associate performs material handling of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies and staging finished product around the shop. You will be controlling, issuing, and delivering inventoried material to the other areas of the plant. You will be transporting and picking up various sizes and lengths of material. You will also help load and unload trucks. You may also be asked to help in other areas of the shop such as packaging, assembly and building crates at times. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Resolves any material needs, solving material problems and inventory control issues as they arise. Updates computer generated inventories and documents. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. REQUIREMENTS: Tow Motor-Forklift. Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. plus stand for extended periods. Can perform basic math calculations. Basic use of hand and power tools preferably cutting saws. Mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills. Proficient with a Computer - ERP System a plus. Shipping and Receiving and Inventory Experience a plus.
