Direct Support Professional DSP

Job Description

We are seeking a multiple candidate position for Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team! You will provides assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities at the Day Program.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities
Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
Provide transportation as needed
Assist individuals with following their scheduled routine
Protect the confidentiality of all information regarding individuals and their families
Report and document unusual incidents
Report potential suspected or actual violations of Laws, regulation or policies
Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at lease 18 years of age
Possesses at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess a Driver's license valid in the state of New Jersey
Submit to a Criminal background check
Complete an application to be checked against the child abuse registry information (CARI)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
