Clinical Research Coordinator 2Tasso is a fast-growing Seattle-based startup focused on delivering at-home diagnostic testing to those who need it most. We are growing our footprint with leading health systems, clinical research organizations, academic medical centers, and more who are looking to deliver clinical-grade, convenient diagnostic tests to their patients. Tasso was originally founded to find a better way to collect blood instead of a painful fingerstick or time-consuming venous draw. Since then, our products have been used in pharmaceutical clinical trials, by Olympians as part of a new virtual anti-doping program, and broadly by hospital systems across the US.We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator 2, a Seattle-based role responsible for handling clinical research study materials and specimens for the Clinical team. This position will report to our Associate Director, Clinical Operations. An ideal candidate will have at a minimum 2 years' experience in a participant-facing clinical research setting.What You Will DoRecruit, prescreen, and obtain informed consent from prospective study participantsConduct clinical study visits, including collecting medical history, performing protocol-specified procedures and phlebotomy, and recording source dataProvide study devices to participants and educate them on proper useCollect, process, and prepare specimens in accordance with clinical and laboratory protocolsMaintain screening logs, enrollment logs, and participant records, both manually and electronicallyEnter and validate study data, e.g., into electronic data capture (EDC) platforms or study spreadsheetsSupport protocol compliance and participate in quality reviews of study activitiesTravel to partner laboratories, at-home collection sites, and additional clinic locations to support enrollment and data collectionProvide data and documentation support:Support clinical and laboratory data cleaning, reconciliation, and query resolution across active studies, in partnership with the study teamAssist with data listings, discrepancy review, and routine EDC data management tasksMaintain regulatory and essential documents and support Study Master File (SMF) upkeepAssist with study start-up and close-out activities and associated documentationWho You AreAuthorized to work in the United StatesPrimarily on-site in Seattle five days per weekBachelor's Degree in a biological or health science fieldAt least two years of experience in a clinical research coordinator or comparable roleMedical Assistant Phlebotomist certification for Washington State, or readiness to obtain itWorking knowledge of medical terminology, clinical trials, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)Comfort working with clinical/laboratory data and research data systems; experience with EDC platforms preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other research systems, e.g., EDC.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across concurrent programsAbility to work both independently and as part of a distributed teamPhlebotomy certification preferred (to be completed within 30 days of hire if not already held)Occasional travel to partner laboratories or study sites may be required (estimated up to 10%)GCP and IATA training (to be completed within 30 days of hire if not already held)Able to lift and handle laboratory shipments and supplies as neededAble to perform other responsibilities as assignedWhat We Offer$75K/yr - $90K/yr base salary + Stock OptionsWe offer competitive compensation, benefits and a fantastic work environment:95% paid Medical, 100% Dental & Vision for employees and a generous subsidy for dependents11 Paid Holidays and generous Time Off policies401K + Employer MatchPaid parental leave policyWe have a strong healthcare-driven mission, and your guidance and efforts will directly link to our success.
