Your Role Will Include

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or long-term health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (as per credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on health maintenance, preemptive measures, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within established guidelines
• Engaging in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
• Cooperating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-focused care
• Accurately documenting information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
