HVAC Maintenance Lead

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HVAC/Maintenance Lead to ensure all facility operations follow policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present.

 

• 1 st shift but should be available to work over and weekends as needed, based on client need
• 70k Salary

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Provides leadership and direction to team members.
• Provides open communication between field employees and management, monitors and documents client communications. 
• Assists with making daily and weekly work schedules
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
• Reports damaged, broken and out of work features/items
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building
• Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Area Manager.
• Provides training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures. 
• Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems.
• Use common tools of the HVAC trade in daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc).
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Assist with customer queries inquiries
• Complete other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Two years of HVAC experience are required.
• EPA Certified
• State of NC HVAC License
