Job Description Preferred Qualifications Strong experience assisting with surgical procedures Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and full-mouth dental radiography Passion for exam room assisting, building strong client relationships, and providing client education Interest in pursuing veterinary technician certification or currently working toward certification Demonstrated ability and willingness to mentor less experienced Veterinary Assistants and support skill and knowledge development Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in and assist wherever needed across medical, boarding, and grooming services Commitment to putting pets and their families first in every interaction Willingness to identify opportunities for change and improvement and contribute ideas that help keep the team at the forefront of veterinary medicine Your Impact as a Veterinary Assistant Provide Essential Patient Care: You\'ll be a key player in the health of our patients, assisting the medical team with hands-on care and ensuring every animal is treated with compassion and respect. What You\'ll Bring to the Team A High School Diploma or equivalent. A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure. Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
