The PA will provide comprehensive care to patients in both the outpatient and perioperative settings, supporting urologists in clinical, procedural, and educational capacities. This role requires clinical expertise, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced urology practice./ppAbout the Collaborating Physician:/ppDr. Christopher Atalla, DO is the Associate Chief of Urology at GSUH, Directors of Mens Health, Robotic Surgery and board-certified urologist. Board-certified urologist with extensive experience in both general and specialty urology, including minimally invasive procedures, post-operative care, and management of complex urologic conditions. Dr. Atalla is committed to providing patient-centered care, emphasizing education, safety, and optimal outcomes. He is actively involved in surgical innovation and mentorship within the urology team, creating a collaborative environment for advanced practice providers./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliPatient Care Management/liulliEvaluate and manage patients in the post-operative period/liliManage urologic conditions, including chronic and acute issues/liliProvide patient education regarding procedures, post-op care, catheter management, and condition management/liliRespond to call backs and manage in-basket messages in the EMR/li/ulliProcedural Support/liulliInsert Foley catheters and manage catheter care/liliAssist in cystoscopies, biopsies, and other urologic procedures/liliPerform injections as directed by the urologist/li/ulliRounds Collaboration/liulliAssist physicians during rounds and clinical assessments/liliCollaborate closely with Dr. Christopher Atalla, DO, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes/li/ulliDocumentation Compliance/liulliMaintain accurate EMR documentation of patient encounters and procedures/liliEnsure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA standards/li/ul/ulpQualifications:/pulliPA-C certification and current state licensure/liliExperience in urology, surgical care, or related specialty preferred/liliProficiency in catheter placement, minor procedures, and perioperative care/liliStrong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail/liliExcellent communication and patient education skills/liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment/li/ulpPosted Salary Range/ppUSD $69.54 - USD $93.00 /Hr./p/div
