Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Extremely Busy Door Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd Shift operations team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on production equipment Diagnose and repair machinery, motors, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed Troubleshoot control systems and assist with PLC-related issues Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a safe and organized work environment Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability Qualifications: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience repairing industrial manufacturing equipment Working knowledge of PLC systems and automated machinery Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and controls Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Welding and fabrication experience a plus Prior manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred Schedule: Full-time, 2nd Shift Overtime as required based on production needs.
