Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 5 years in nursing; Minimum 3 years in oncology (Med/Surg Oncology preferred); 2 years outpatient oncology experience preferred License: RN License required Certifications: AHA BLS; ACLS; OCN preferred; ONS/ONCC preferred Must-Have: Charting System Experience required; Experience with Epic preferred; Charge Experience preferred Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our oncology clinic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of RN experience and at least three years of oncology experience, ideally in a Med/Surg setting. Experience in outpatient oncology is preferred. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and managing post-surgical care. The role will involve patient education, symptom management, and coordination of care among multidisciplinary teams. The nurse will support patients with head and neck cancer diagnoses and participate in clinical trial activities. Strong telephone triage skills and the ability to float to other facilities are preferred. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge in the administration of chemotherapy and care coordination. Additional skills in wound care, tracheostomy management, and recognizing abnormal lab values are critical for this role.
