We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to join our team and help us maintain our financial accuracy, streamline our processes, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with a focus on managing both accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AR/AP processing, reconciling transactions, and maintaining financial records. You will play a key role in ensuring that both incoming and outgoing financial transactions are handled accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable:

  • Process customer invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
  • Prepare aging reports and assist with collections efforts.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and address queries.

• Accounts Payable:

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment in accordance with company terms.
  • Verify and maintain proper documentation for all payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist in preparing payment runs and scheduling payments.

• General Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for both AR and AP accounts.
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
  • Assist with filing paperwork and documentation
  • Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting any discrepancies or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of AR/AP bookkeeping experience preferred.
