Precision CNC Machining Specialist — Production Components

Location: Louisville, KY

Imagine your day beginning with a fresh work order and a blueprint in hand. You select the tooling, load the program, dial in offsets, and bring a complex part to life—holding tight tolerances while keeping safety front and center. That’s a typical morning for our next CNC expert.

What a day looks like

Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce components that meet exact specifications.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to guide setups and verify results.
Continuously monitor machining operations, adjusting feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Keep the work area safe, orderly, and compliant with shop safety standards.
Partner with teammates to streamline workflows and improve throughput.
Accurately record production data and maintain traceable documentation.

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.
Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or comparable role in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency reading technical prints and manufacturing documentation.
Solid grasp of CNC machinery and an understanding of programming concepts.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Sharp attention to detail with strong troubleshooting instincts.
Comfort with precision measuring tools and quality control practices.
Flexibility to work overtime and varied hours when needed.
