With distribution across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Target, and Ulta Beauty, Wavytalk is entering an exciting stage of growth and is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to help bring our brand to life across every consumer touchpoint.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing Brand Marketing team. This role will be responsible for creating compelling visual assets across digital, print, retail, packaging, and e-commerce channels while helping maintain and elevate Wavytalk's distinctive brand identity.

The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design fundamentals with exceptional photo retouching skills, understands consumer brands and retail environments, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in New York City (4 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Marketing Creative

·       Design high-impact creative assets across paid social, organic social, email marketing, website, Amazon, TikTok Shop, digital advertising, and PR campaigns.

·        Develop visually engaging marketing materials that align with Wavytalk's brand identity and business objectives.

·       Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Social Media, Influencer Marketing, E-Commerce, and Product teams to support launches and campaigns.

·       Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing touch points.

Photo Retouching & Image Production

·       Retouch product photography, lifestyle imagery, campaign visuals, and e-commerce assets to professional beauty-industry standards.

·       Perform color correction, compositing, cleanup, and image enhancement while maintaining authenticity and brand aesthetics.

·        Help establish and maintain image guidelines across all consumer-facing channels.

Content & Motion Design

·       Create basic motion graphics, animated assets, GIFs, and video elements for social media, advertising, and product launches.

·        Support content production needs with graphic overlays, title cards, and digital storytelling assets.

Website & Digital Experience

·       Design landing pages, promotional pages, website graphics, and e-commerce content.

·       Collaborate with digital teams to optimize user experience and visual consistency across online platforms.

Retail & Merchandising Design

·       Create retail marketing assets including endcaps, shelf signage, display graphics, retailer presentations, point-of-sale materials, and promotional campaigns.

·       Support major retail partners including Target, Ulta Beauty, Costco, and future retail accounts.

·       Collaborate with external vendors and retail partners to ensure artwork meets production specifications.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field.

·        3-5+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, consumer products, or e-commerce brands.

·       Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

·       Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital, print, branding, and marketing design.

·       Exceptional photo retouching and image editing skills.

·       Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.

·       Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

·       Experience designing consumer product packaging.

·        Experience creating retail displays, merchandising materials, or point-of-sale assets.

·       Knowledge of retail production requirements and print specifications.

·       Motion graphics and video editing experience using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

·       Experience with Figma and basic UI/UX design.

·       Experience working with Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Target, Ulta Beauty, or other retail/e-commerce channels.

·       Photography experience or understanding of studio production workflows.

·       Beauty, personal care, or lifestyle brand experience.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually*
