Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and stepdown care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other indicators of patient health.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist in the assessment and care planning for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Float to Med-Surg and remote telemetry units as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of experience in Telemetry or Stepdown nursing required.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to float between different units as required.

Shift and Duration

This position is for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation. The contract duration is 13 weeks.
