CSI Companies is seeking an Epic IT Project Manager to work with one of our top healthcare clients!

Title : Epic IT Project Manager

Location : Waterbury, CT

Type : Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

Duration : Long-Term Contract

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex healthcare IT initiatives in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of technical project management experience and a strong background managing Epic EMR/EHR implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and optimization projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end healthcare IT and technical projects from planning through go-live.
Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and project dependencies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across applications, infrastructure, networking, security, interfaces, and operations.
Lead Epic-related implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, migrations, and go-live activities.
Partner with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Drive issue resolution and keep projects aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

10+ years of Technical Project Management experience, preferably in healthcare.
Proven experience leading Epic EMR/EHR projects.
Strong understanding of healthcare IT, workflows, integrations, interoperability, and data migration.
Experience managing complex technical environments and enterprise-level projects.
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
Experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interface engines.
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
