Desired Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Moderate to Intense Intervention Specialist License required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt lessons and classroom environments to accommodate diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver tailored instruction for students with moderate to intensive learning requirements
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support development in academics, behavior, and social-emotional skills
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes engagement and achievement
• Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school culture
