Phlebotomist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include drawing blood from patients, working with test codes, and entering patient demographic information into a computerized laboratory system.

Key Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients of all ages in a hospital environment.
• Often draw 30 or more patients in a day.
• Provide excellent customer service to each patient.
• Work with test codes and patient demographic information, entering it into a computerized laboratory system.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience in a non-donor setting.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods in a large hospital setting.
• Preferred hospital experience.
• Phlebotomy diploma is preferred.

Skills

• Technical skills: Ability to navigate through different computer programs comfortably.
• Soft skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Willingness and ability to work every other weekend and holidays, as the hospital is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
