Compensation Range $25.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience Work Schedule Monday 9 AM - 6PM Tuesday 8 AM - 6PM Wednesday 8 AM - 4PM Thursday 8 AM - 6PM Friday 7 AM - 4PM Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Provide patients with follow‑up instructions following all dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Qualifications Prior Dental Assistant experience 2 - 4 years highly preferred Experience with Dentrix highly preferred Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify X‑ray certification where state regulations specify Benefits We Offer Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Health and Vision Insurance Employer‑Paid Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Care.com Membership & Employee Assistance Program Supplemental Coverage (Disability, Critical Illness, Accident) Paid Scrub Allowance Career Growth and Development Opportunities Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
