JOB DESCRIPTION Role Purpose The Collection Analyst is responsible for the appropriate handling collections of the outstanding balance. The collector must reconcile accounts and assist in creating a repayment plan between the debtor and collector upon agreement, based on Company's policy. Key Responsibilities Register in Meridian the account current reports received from general agencies. Oversee critical and unapplied cases monthly. Reconcile the general agencies accounts monthly. Generate reports of accounts receivable (weekly, monthly, and quarterly). Collect account current balances and non-reported policies from general agencies. Advise general agencies of necessary actions and strategies for overdue balances. Apply collections and payments on a weekly basis. Request cancellation notice if applicable. Maintain control of policies related to government and condominium business. Review and analyze the collection results to accomplish the Company's goals. Support and gather information for the audit process. Other projects and tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Accounting. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and working knowledge of common application software. Intermediate knowledge of the structure and content of the English Language. Experience Five (5) years or more of experience in Accounting - Collections. Insurance industry, preferable. ABOUT US Chubb is a world leader in insurance.
