MEP Estimator

Are you an experienced MEP Estimator looking to work on some of the most complex and high-profile data center projects in North America? Our client, a well-established General Contractor with a growing presence in the mission critical sector, is seeking an MEP Estimator to join their Northern Virginia team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale hyperscale, colocation, and mission critical facilities for some of the world's leading technology companies. Responsibilities Prepare detailed MEP estimates for data center and mission critical projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cost projections. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing. Work closely with Preconstruction, Operations, and Business Development teams throughout the pursuit process. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Assist in budget development, conceptual estimating, and GMP pricing. Participate in bid reviews, scope analysis, and client presentations where required. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors across the electrical and mechanical markets. Requirements 5+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Previous experience estimating data center, mission critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial projects preferred. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience with take-off and estimating software. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. What's On Offer?
