Family Vision Optical is a great place to work and we have a brand-new office. We are a fun, family-oriented office that is very active in the community. You do not need previous experience in eye care, but you need to be willing to learn the job. We are a growing office and work hard but play hard as well. The Position

The primary focus will be working in optical with patients discussing frames, lenses, and our eye care supplements as well as dry eye products.

The position will also include scheduling patients, basic patient workups, checking in frames and lenses, and adjusting and dispensing patient’s glasses.

Skills

Our staff is constantly learning and knowledgeable about the services we provide. We pride ourselves on staying up to date with the latest technologies our profession has to offer. Our focus is on optical, dry eye, and ocular health and wellness. Embracing these areas are a MUST to work here.

Applicants must have computer skills (excel and internet) and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. An outgoing, extroverted personality is desired as customer service is the most important aspect of this job. Experience is not necessary, but the learning curve is steep, and applicants must be willing to learn at a fast pace. Experience in any professional setting is helpful and will be given extra consideration.

We are constantly improving our office, so being willing to learn is a must to work here.

This full-time position works M 8:45-6, T 8:45-6, W 8:45-5, R 8:45-5, F 8:45-12.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, 401K, and vision.
