RN School Nurse - Chesterland

Registered Nurse (RN)

NCTA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support a School in Chesterland, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a great work schedule!

Hours: Full-Time position available within school hours (~8am – 4pm)

Pay Range: Competitive Salary Based on Experience

Working Days or Days per week: Follows a standard school calendar - 5 days per week

Hours per day: 7-8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings.
• Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications include:

• Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
• Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• School-based or pediatric experience
