ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY
Park7 Management is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of one of our luxury student housing communities in Tampa, Florida (USF Area). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both operational and financial responsibilities, and is looking to grow. You’ll play a key role in supporting leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and the overall financial health of the community.ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting and Financials Oversight of Entrata software: ensuring data is correct and up-to-date, processing bank deposits, monthly postings, running reports, etc. Rent collection for all units (including organizing deposits, preparing, and distributing late notices, filing with the magistrate, etc.). Responsible for walking units and posting all move-out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds. Run reports and support property performance tracking. Conducting financial audits in conjunction with regular lease audits. All aspects of invoicing. Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to collections and evictions. Leasing & Property Administration Assisting the property manager by supporting day-to-day office operations, including answering phones and resident inquiries. Support leasing efforts, including tours, lease preparation, and tracking leasing performance. Help execute marketing initiatives such as housing fairs, open houses, and outreach events. Maintain accurate and compliant resident files and documentation. Assisting with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 2+ years of experience in student housing, or multifamily housing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Have experience with Entrata or similar property management systems Are comfortable balancing resident interactions with administrative and financial tasks Take initiative and can manage multiple priorities Are interested in growing into a Property Manager roleCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
