Senior HR Business Partner/HR Generalist

Compensation and Benefits Constellation offers competitive compensation and benefits. Senior HR Business Partner: $93,800 – $104,000; HR Generalist: $72,900 – $81,000. Location & Travel Onsite 3–4 times per week at Clinton Power Station, Clinton, Illinois. Full relocation package available. Senior HR Business Partner – Primary Purpose Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals, provide proactive guidance, support client groups and implement HR strategy, and manage change processes. Senior HR Business Partner – Primary Duties and Accountabilities Champion employee engagement and workforce planning. Partner with business leadership to develop plans aligned with strategy. Liaison to HR specialty functions and centers of expertise. Lead enterprise‑wide initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and transformation projects. Drive workforce and talent planning. Evaluate and resolve employee relations issues and develop trend strategies. Provide input to COEs for continuous improvement. Senior HR Business Partner – Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Human Resources or related field. 5–8 years of HR operations or specialist experience in a matrix organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA. Strategic thinking and relationship building. Drive for results and ability to lead initiatives. Coaching and performance management skills. Ability to use research and data analysis. Senior HR Business Partner – Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (e.g., MBA). PHR or SPHR certification. HR Generalist – Primary Purpose Provide professional advice and implementation regarding workforce planning, employee relations, staffing; align HR with business strategy; interpret and execute policies. HR Generalist – Primary Duties and Accountabilities Identify talent and workforce needs; develop plans. Drive annual processes with HR Business Partner. Assist on operational HR issues and champion change. Provide transactional support for employee changes. Coaching and counseling business units. Support recruitment activity with talent acquisition. HR Generalist – Minimum Qualifications 4‑year degree in HR or related field; 2–5 years generalist experience in a matrixed organization. Effective line management relations; strong communication skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA. Business background helpful. Drive for results and alignment. Coaching, performance management, and facilitation skills. Ability to build consensus and foster culture change.
