Role Description: The Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner is a full-time, on-site role based in Hinsdale, Illinois. This role is 4 working days with a full benefit package. PTO, 401K, and contributions to health insurance a plus. On site training provided, and community outreach a must. This role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing health histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized functional medicine care plans. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including follow-up visits, medication and supplement management, and coordination of services such as IV therapy in collaboration with other clinicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include patient education on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventive strategies, documentation in the medical record, and participation in care team discussions to refine treatment approaches. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge of functional medicine practices, adhering to regulatory standards, and contributing to a patient-centered, collaborative practice culture.
