Press Operator Helper
Position Reports to: Production Supervisor
To support pressman in accordance with company procedures.
Essential Functions include the following: Other duties may be assigned
- Prepares next order for press
- Cleans press with Press Operator
- Sets up press with Press Operator
- Maintains supply inventory levels at presses
- Cleans pressroom
- Additional duties as directed by the Pressroom Supervisor
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma of GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education an experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts; and is exposed to ink vapors. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
