Our organization is looking for skilled local Registered Nurses for per diem hospital roles in Halifax, Virginia . You have the flexibility to select shifts that align with your lifestyle, whether you prefer to work occasionally or establish a more regular schedule. Available shifts include:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are actively seeking nurses with recent experience in acute care, specifically in:

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Telemetry (Tele)

Applicants must possess:

• An active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the last two years
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• A current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption

Additional credentials may be necessary depending on the specialty and facility assignment.

• Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital environment
• Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and their responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Exhibit professionalism and adaptability in the hospital setting
