Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN TMC is a therapy provider offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long‑term care providers. We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you work under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain movement, alleviate pain, and restore function following injury, illness, or surgery. Primary responsibilities include: Assist in the implementation of treatment plans to address patients' rehabilitation goals and functional needs. Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities, instructing on proper technique, monitoring progress, and providing feedback. Apply and monitor treatment modalities, adjusting parameters as needed to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management strategies. Monitor and document patient responses to treatment interventions and collaborate with the supervising physical therapist on plan adjustments. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current license or certification in the state of practice. TMC is an equal opportunity employer.
