EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Job Summary Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our occupational health clinic in Albany, OR. This PRN role is as‑needed, with no guaranteed hours. The clinic operates seven days a week, from 8 AM to 10 PM. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour. Responsibilities The position’s responsibilities include collaborative work with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. The day‑to‑day role involves ongoing workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program facilitation, and treatment‑plan monitoring. The technician works closely with outside medical providers. Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (the Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support on‑site employee health and wellness efforts. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and related tools. Manage case coordination. Perform medical charting. Qualifications You must: Love what you do. Hold valid licensure for the position. Have current CPR/BLS certification. Possess strong computer and technology skills and familiarity with EMR software. Be able to lift a 50 lb emergency‑response bag. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintain a positive and outgoing personality. Be willing to go above and beyond. Be passionate about caring for people. Be capable of having fun. It is a plus if: You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment. You have occupational‑health experience. You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
