The role calls for a practical problem-solver who is comfortable working in the field, supporting a varied device environment, and responding to evolving operational needs.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, servers, mobile devices, and Apple-based equipment across ranch operations, ensuring reliable day-to-day performance.
• Deliver remote and on-site assistance to users, resolving technical issues efficiently and communicating clearly throughout the support process.
• Oversee backup processes and help sustain dependable wireless and network connectivity across buildings and ranch properties, including Ubiquiti-based environments.
• Support and service large-scale audiovisual and entertainment systems such as Apple TV, Sonos, and DirecTV installations.
• Provide technical assistance for Microsoft Office 2019 and later versions, helping users remain productive with core business applications.
• Perform basic network support tasks, including troubleshooting switching and connectivity issues in coordination with centralized IT leadership when needed.
• Assist with printer upkeep, fiber-related connectivity concerns, and other infrastructure issues affecting ranch operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and complete additional technical duties as assigned to support the needs of ranch management and the parent organization.• 5-7 years of broad IT support experience in desktop, device, or infrastructure support environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows systems, Apple devices, Android hardware, and common endpoint troubleshooting practices.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, backup technologies, and configuration management concepts.
• Experience supporting business applications such as Microsoft Office; exposure to tools like Active Directory, Citrix, Cisco, ArcGIS, or Photoshop is beneficial.
• A+ certification or other relevant technical credentials is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel locally, with occasional overnight trips as needed.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions, navigate uneven terrain, remain flexible with shifting assignments, and meet company screening and compliance requirements.
