Machinist 3

Job Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes, including tooling, fixturing, and offsets. Create, modify, or troubleshoot CNC programs using CAM software or G-code. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications. Perform first article inspections and adjust programs as needed using micrometers and calipers. Optimize machining parameters for quality, efficiency, and tool life. Conduct in process and final inspections using precision measuring tools. Document machining data and collaborate with Engineering and Quality. 3D Printing experience, a plus. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training, apprenticeship in CNC machining, or technical degree in machining is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: 2-5 years related machining experience. Experience in reading and interpreting imperial and metric engineering drawings. Ability to solve problems and analyze data. Takes initiative and demonstrates a strong work ethic. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Detail oriented with strong organization skills. Self-confident, approachable, and professional in interaction with others. Strong people skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Knowledgeable of safety protocols and procedures in a machine shop setting.
