The Home Health Aide plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, managing their health needs, and supporting their independence in a familiar environment. The aide will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to implement care plans tailored to each client's unique requirements. Job Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain hygiene and comfort.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and promote physical activity within their capabilities.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status or behavior to healthcare providers and family members promptly.
• Help with medication reminders and adherence according to prescribed schedules and care plans.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and errands to create a safe and supportive home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and enhance mental well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent credential as required by state regulations.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the Indy South area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home care settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Additional training in specialized care areas such as dementia or chronic disease management.
