Travel RN - TelemetryAmerican TravelerSpokane, Washington, United StatesPosition ID: P-759848Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 26Openings: 1$2,312.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least 6 months of neuro experience for a night shift position in a Level II Trauma Center's telemetry unit.DetailsWork in the Telemetry unit of a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center teaching hospital.Care for neurology patients including CVA, craniotomy, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury cases.Patient ratio of 1:5.Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00).Every other weekend required.Floating between units required.No on-call requirements.Uses Epic charting system.RequirementsActive WA state or compact RN license required, must be in hand at submission.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.At least 6 months of neuro experience required.At least 1 year of RN experience required.Epic charting experience required.Proficient in NIH Stroke Scale and managing a variety of neurology diagnoses.Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management.Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube care (Emerson/PleurEvac) preferred.Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.Additional InformationProvide telemetry and neurological nursing care including monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response for cardiac dysrhythmias.May float between sister facilities near the contracted site.Scrub color is any color for RNs.No parking fees at this facility.Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer requests may not be accommodated.Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel RN and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate.Local radius rule of 50 miles applies.Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Hours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
