Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Process Systems Plumber to support the installation and maintenance of PVC-based industrial piping systems. Under the supervision of experienced plumbers, this role will focus on learning and applying the skills necessary to work safely and efficiently in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p. Pay is $18+ depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial PVC piping systems used in process applications
• Learn to interpret blueprints, process flow diagrams, and technical schematics
• Cut, fit, and join PVC pipes using approved techniques such as solvent welding, threading, and mechanical fittings
• Measure and prepare pipe lengths and support systems according to layout plans
• Help conduct inspections and pressure testing of piping systems to identify leaks or issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Support senior plumbers and fabricators to finish machines according to production deadlines
• Accurately log hours, tasks, and materials used for work orders and training purposes
• Participate in on-the-job training

Required Skills -

• Safety conscious
• Able to differentiate between similar objects
• Basic measuring skills.
• Computer literacy, including confidently operating a Windows PC, managing computer files and folders, and use of Microsoft Office products.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to climb on and around machines during construction.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools; screwdrivers, wrenches, tape measures, etc.
• Willingness to provide own basic hand tools.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
