Unit Notes - Hiring Process: Profile Review - Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit manager at facility - Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote Department: RT - SAS # treatments per day Variable Certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP?) RRT or is CRT acceptable? BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, CO License Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) Adults, Peds, Neonates What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.) Inpatient, ER, LDRP, occasionally PACU Experience or 'Must have' skills Nursery, ED, Inpatient Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) ABGs; EKGs; administer breathing treatments; manage vents, heated high flow, bipap and cpap; nursery support; C-section support; home O2 set-up Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Only assist Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist? Lead Therapist "Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) *Would they ever be the only RT in-house?*" Always will be the only RT in house. We allow self-scheduling and block scheduling. Weekend Requirements No, but it is expected they are able to help cover weekends on occasion. Holiday Requirements One major winter holiday. Call or standby call requirement? No. What is call response time NA. Floating Requirements NA. Scrub Color/Dress Code RTs wear the hospital laundered blue scrubs. RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) Hamilton, PB980, V-30 Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Hospitalist not in house 24 hr/day. Intensivist by telehealth only. Department Specific Orientation 2-3 weeks
